Montville Township is responsible for maintaining approximately 115 centerline miles of roadway within its nearly 20 square mile jurisdiction. The Engineering Department utilizes available funds for road resurfacing each year to construct improvements to the road system. Approximately 4 centerline miles of roadway can be resurfaced each year with the available funds. Depending on bids received and/ or the Morris County Co-Operative Council pricing, this length of road will vary.
